If they’re ANSI Z87.1 certified and meet the impact requirements of MIL-V-43511C and MIL-PRF-31013 goggles, then yes, they’ll be good enough.

IT IS SMART to wear safety glasses… but do not confuse that with SAFE.

A high pressure BB Gun could easily shatter your run of the mill safety glasses if hit dead on.

Sunglasses will not protect your eyes from BB’s, I would not risk it. Sometimes a ricocheting BB may still have a lot of inertia left in it, which could cause serious damage to an eye. A human eye is very fragile and I would recommend that you wear specially designed shooting glasses, safety is always first and please shoot safely and practice safety.
